That’s how Tanja describes her path at Executive Insight - a journey that began in 2007, fresh out of university, and evolved into a leadership role shaped by curiosity, resilience, and a deep commitment to client success.
With a Master’s in Information, Medical & Technology Management from the University of St. Gallen, she was drawn to the consulting and software aspects of the business. But what truly captivated her was the complexity of the pharmaceutical world - a space she hadn’t initially planned to enter.
This hands-on, experience-based approach shaped not only her expertise but also rooted in the company’s culture. “Everyone in the leadership team is keen to connect with clients and help them to make an impact. That’s very different from the scalable, predefined approach of other consulting firms.”
Tanja’s expertise in Medical Affairs and Organizational Transformation has developed by working side‑by‑side with clients to address their most pressing challenges.
What Tanja enjoys the most is the people that work at Executive Insight and multi-year partnerships with clients: “This might sound cheesy, but it’s who you work with that matters most”. What she values a lot is the culture of trust and openness.
This spirit was especially evident during the COVID years. As part of the Operations team, Tanja helped navigate contingency planning, remote work, and team connection. “We had online cooking events, business discussions, and senior leaders even delivered monitors to employees’ homes.” Tanja also recalls that during this period there was a flood of work and the team needed to be protected:
