Privacy policy
This website is administered by Executive Insight or one of its direct suppliers.
Executive Insight wants the user to feel secure when visiting our site and is committed to maintaining your privacy when doing so. The following provides an overview of how we protect your privacy during your visit.
What information does Executive Insight collect?
Executive Insight collects information on its website in two ways:
1. Indirectly (for example, through internet access logs and cookies)
2. Directly (for example, when you provide information on executiveinsight.ch).
1. Indirect:
Cookies are small pieces of data which save and retrieve information about your visit to our website – for example, how you entered the site, how you navigated through the site, and what information was of interest to you. The cookies we use identify you merely as a number.
We will ask you about your cookie preferences when you first access our website so you can choose whether or not you want to accept them.
2. Direct:
We also collect information when you voluntarily submit it to us. On our website, we may provide the opportunity to register for access to publications, events or conferences or to participate in an online survey. When we collect this type of information, we inform you as to why we are asking for such information and how this information will be used. You will be free to choose whether or not you want to provide it.
How do I refuse or withdraw my consent to the use of cookies?
If you do not want cookies to be stored on your device, you can adjust your browser settings to reject some or all cookies and to alert you when a cookie is placed on your device. For further information about how to do so, please refer to your browser's help section. If you want to remove previously-stored cookies, you can manually delete the cookies any time, However, this will not prevent the site from placing further cookies on your device until you adjust your internet browser settings as described above.
How does Executive Insight use such information?
We analyse indirectly collected information to determine what is most effective about the site, to help identify ways we can tailor the website to make it more effective. If your data is used for another purpose, this will always be described to you at the point we collect the information. When we collect information from you directly, the purpose will always be explicitly stated at the point of collection.
Do we share information with outside parties?
The information we collect may be shared throughout the Executive Insight organization and its partners and direct suppliers. We do not and will not sell individual information.
To better administer our website and to help us improve the visitor experience, we use Google Analytics to track and report on website traffic. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.
You can opt-out of having your activity on the website made available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. This add-on disables Google Analytics JavaScript to prevent Google Analytics using your data. To view Google’s own privacy policy, please visit the Google Privacy & Terms web page.
What about sensitive personal data?
Executive Insight collects personal information when users request publications or contact us for other information, sign up for conferences and events and apply for jobs. We only collect the personal information that you provide us with. In the case of a job application, we will also hold the personal information contained within your resume.
Executive Insight uses your personally-identifiable information to fulfil your requests for information, to process your requests to participate in conferences and events, to evaluate any job applications or other employment-related inquiries that you may submit, and for such other purposes as you may initiate or request. If you contact us regarding a job opening, we may keep your personally-identifiable information on file and use it to contact you for recruiting purposes. We only keep personal information for the stated purpose and we collect only the minimum amount of information necessary to fulfil that purpose.
If you participate in a survey, all of our research results are reported as totals or in other aggregated form, and no information about you as an individual respondent is published.
Do we give you access to your information?
Executive Insight respects the rights of the data subject. As such, you are entitled to know whether we hold information about you and, if we do, to have access to that information and request that it be corrected if it is inaccurate, or to have it deleted if you no longer wish us to hold this information. Please note that any legal requirement to hold information for a certain time will supersede your rights as a data subject.
You may access, correct, update, and/or delete any personally-identifiable information that you submit to the site. You may also unsubscribe from mailing lists or any registrations on the site. You can do this by sending an e-mail to: info@executiveinsight.ch.
What about data security?
The open nature of the internet is such that data may flow over networks without security measures and may be accessed and used by people other than those for whom the data is intended. We take all steps to maintain an appropriate level of security on this website to ensure that this does not happen.
For any further question, do not hesitate to contact us.
