Career summary
Wendy is a Dutch citizen who joined Executive Insight in May 2010. Before moving into consultancy, she has worked in pharmaceutical industry for 7 years, gaining deep understanding of the landscape.
Most recently she worked first as global product manager for Novo Nordisk A/S where she developed marketing strategies as well as communication concepts in diabetes.
Prior to this she was project manager in Medical Affairs, both roles were based in Denmark. She started her career as manager medical communications at Centocor, a Johnson & Johnson company, focussing on medical education

Master degree in Medical Biology from the University of Amsterdam
Selected experience
- Designing and delivering a company wide customer centricity programme – projects ranging from process optimisation to customer satisfaction survey roll out
- Setting up a global medical Education Benchmark for a Top 10 pharma company
- Designing portfolio marketing strategy focussed on market expansion and leading execution of plan in cross functional team
- Leading a Phase 4 programme in Type 2 Diabetes with >5000 health care professionals, amongst others responsible for coordinating the progress in 11 participating countries and the study process
- Developing a medical education programme in auto-immune diseases giving the company a competitive edge
