Career summary

Paul lived in South Africa before transferring to Switzerland in January 2000.

Paul has been consulting in the area of commercial operations around 16 years, primarily in the healthcare and consumer business industries. Prior to joining Executive Insight in June 2005, Paul spent ten years working for Deloitte Consulting. 

Paul is currently leading Executive Insight’s value proposition of Innovative European and Global Commercial Models, and has become an expert in setting up commercial operations from idea through launch to post-launch optimisation.

  • Supporting biotechs in understanding the market opportunity, and maximising the short term vs. long term value of their assets. (Systematic reviews, market research, pricing analysis, opportunity analysis, market entry analysis, commercial organisational design and business planning)
  • Performing new business development activities for biotech and pharma companies (Buy-side and sell-side mandates)
  • Setting up pharma commercial operations from scratch. The design, preparation, launch and optimisation of Pan-European and global commercial operations
