Academic Collaborations
Thought leadership is at the core of our company philosophy and is a key factor in creating value for our customers. For this reason, Executive Insight is devoting special attention to the development of collaborations with renowned academic institutions. The aim is to share and challenge our empirical healthcare industry know-how as well as emerging concepts and practices drawn from our international marketing and sales assignments. Here are some concrete examples:
Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zürich (ETH)
We are currently contributing to a course at the ETH’s department of Management, Technology, and Economics on the topic of Industry and Competitive Analysis (ICA). In the context of this course we are providing guest lecturers, supporting a group dedicated to the analysis of the pharmaceutical industry and collaborating on a joint publication project.

In 2007, a collaboration with the INSEAD Healthcare Management Initiative (HMI) was initiated. Together with the HMI and Johnson & Johnson, we co-hosted a Healthcare2020 platform on the topic of New Paradigms for Life Science marketing bringing together over 80 executives from the pharmaceutical, medical devices and biotech industries. This conference lead to the publication of a special edition of the Journal of Medical Marketing devoted to the future of Life Science Marketing.

University of St. Gallen (HSG)
We entertain tight personal links to the University of St. Gallen as a significant number of Executive Insight professionals are HSG alumni. Since 2006, we are actively engaged in the HSG coaching program and are currently evaluating formal collaboration options with several institutes.
